Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you fill out a form or book a consultation, we collect your name, work email, company, how you heard about us, and anything you include in your message. Consultation bookings are handled through Calendly, which collects the details you provide to schedule.
• Marketing attribution data. To understand which marketing channels bring visitors to us, we use cookies and hidden form fields to record source information — such as the referring channel and campaign (commonly “UTM” parameters) and, for Google Ads visitors, a Google Click ID (GCLID) — at your first and most recent visit. This is the same attribution tracking our services help clients implement.
• Cookie-consent records. When you accept cookies through our banner, we record your consent for our compliance records. That record includes your IP address, the date and time of consent, the page you were on, and your browser’s user-agent string.
• Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to (a) preserve marketing source information across your visit, (b) remember your cookie-consent choice, and (c) improve the Site. When you first visit, we show a banner asking you to Accept or Decline. If you Accept, we set attribution cookies and record your consent as described above. If you Decline, we do not set non-essential attribution cookies; a single essential cookie is used only to remember your choice. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

To determine the IP address recorded with your consent, we use a third-party service (ipify). Your consent records are stored through our forms provider (Netlify).

How we use your information

• To understand which marketing channels and content drive interest, and to improve our Site and services.
• To maintain records of cookie consent for legal and compliance purposes.
• To send you information you request, and — where permitted — occasional relevant communications you can opt out of at any time.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the Site and business, under agreements that limit their use of it, including: Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Calendly (consultation scheduling), Google (advertising and analytics measurement, where applicable), and ipify (IP lookup for consent records). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here — including maintaining consent records for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance — and then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at hello@revenuethread.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing the “rt_consent” cookie in your browser.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on our Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our Site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version on this page.
